Foraging Activity of Tetragonula laeviceps Workers for Natural Resources and Nest Materials at a Polyculture Cropland in Batusangkar, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra

Abstract Tetragonula laeviceps is the most widely distributed stingless bee species in tropics. The observation on foraging activity of workers had been done from September to December 2020 at a polyculture cropland Batusangkar, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra. study aimed determine pattern this with vegetation mixture and identify relationships between environmental factors i.e., temperature, humidity, light intensity, activity. were observed hourly for fifteen minutes 6 am pm their nest entrance, focusing what they carry when leaving entering colony. was conducted seven consecutive days within week. natural resources that brought into identified noted along number carried certain resource. analysis data showed going-out peaked 9 am. resource by pollen. Statistical revealed 78% activities material influenced factors.
